students at work

The greatest pleasure as an art teacher is to see my students progress in their art practice. Many of my students have worked with me for several years and I’m always thrilled to see their latest work. I enjoy keeping up with each student’s progress, even long after they finish my classes. I have watched new students who previously didn’t know how to hold a paintbrush, turn into amazing painters over time through practice and determination. Many students have turned into hobbyists, others paint for gallery exhibitions and some revisit the practice when they need focus and beauty in their lives.
